Biscuit fired jugs

Crystalline glazes are often said to be technically most demanding thus applying and firing them means a lot of potential risk of loosing a piece of artwork we may already have spent weeks or even months of intense creative work on.

Indeed some of the ‘Tango Dancer’ wine jugs shown in the background of this image got discarded due to an unfortunate firing result.

This only proves the estimation of about 75% of crystalline glazed items going to scrap is more than true.
